In contrast to vertical industrial doors, where the tarpaulins roll upwards, with horizontal high-speed doors the two door halves open to the side in a matter of seconds. By opening to the side, the entire clearance height is immediately available.
Another advantage of horizontal doors is that they provide an unobstructed view of the room behind them, and the viewing window always remains at eye level.
This means that the driver always has the door and the area behind it in view and dangerous collisions, for example when transporting goods with a forklift truck, can be avoided. The opening principle, the high opening speed and a light curtain integrated into the door leaves make collisions with the door virtually impossible.
